About Smoky Pines Cannabis Friendly Bud & Breakfast

The idea of the resort came from owner, Debra Antone, who says, “I used to go camping quite a bit, and it was hard to find a place that was cannabis-friendly…”. And then Parks Canada announced that cannabis use would be permitted at a camper’s site, but not in common areas such as playgrounds and washrooms.

Choosing the perfect cannabis-friendly spot

There are four cabins, each housing two units (small and large), with each featuring a queen-sized bed (or two in the large), a sofa bed, kitchenette, WiFi and a barbeque. A larger modular home on the land, which accommodates eight people, is also available for rent. Privacy is valued, with the cabins situated about nine to 12 metres from one another.

Each cabin has, full bath, Queen Size beds, pull-out sofa, air conditioning, colour cable TV, mini fridge, microwave, and barbecue with utensils. Each cabin has its own fire pit with first bag of firewood free. Propane barbecues are supplied along with a whole set of dishes and utensils. We ask that you bring your own bed linens, bath and beach towels.

Our Cabins are Side by Side style. Each side by side has 1 large cabin suite and 1 small cabin suite. We have a total of four side by side cabins as well as a modular home.

Endless attractions nearby.

Smoky Pines is only minutes from Port Franks beach, with sand bars and miles of sandy beach. And just next door is The Pinery Park with its endless trails. We also offer canoe rentals if you’d like to do some paddling.
