Q Is it legal?

Yes, it is legal to possess and share cannabis as long as you follow the law. At our company, we make sure you do! It's important to note that provincial or territorial restrictions may apply, but adults who are nineteen years of age or older are legally allowed to possess up to thirty grams of legal cannabis in public, whether it is dried or in non-dried form. You can also share up to thirty grams of legal cannabis with other adults.

However, distributing illegal cannabis to your guests or giving it to anyone under the age of nineteen can result in severe penalties, including up to fourteen years in jail. For more information, please refer to the Government of Canada's website at https://www.justice.gc.ca/eng/cj-jp/cannabis/.

Q Can I have High Bar at my event?

We offer HIGH BAR EXPERIENCES for private, corporate, and social events, including festivals, fundraisers, concerts, and more. However, the availability of some experiences may vary depending on the location of your event, such as the town, city, or province.

When booking HIGH BAR, our sales representative will work with you to confirm what experiences can and cannot be provided based on your event's location and type.

Q Where can I purchase my cannabis?

To legally purchase recreational cannabis, cannabis edibles, and concentrates you must do so through either the Ontario Cannabis Store website or an authorized retail cannabis store.

Buying cannabis from any other source is illegal and could result in a fine and/or imprisonment.

Individuals are allowed to purchase up to 30 grams, or approximately one ounce, of dried recreational cannabis or equivalent at one time for personal use.

Q What about safety?

At High Bar, we are committed to promoting safe and responsible consumption practices. High Bar Hospitality & Event Group offers the services of certified budtenders and cannabis sommeliers who have completed the CannSell Certification and Smart Serve Certification. Through the CannSell Certification, our staff is knowledgeable in responsible cannabis consumption, product information, ID verification, and identifying intoxicated individuals.
