I try and follow updates on Aurora since finding them on Linked In, also my keen interest in Cannabis investment means taking a leap of faith on gut instinct. So now I want to say I am happy I put all my eggs into Aurora’s basket and it is paying off. Aurora has expanded internationally, legal and licensed, and conducting business with ethics and regulation so in maintaining strict regulations they are producing quality product. Aurora suggests exercising caution while using medical cannabis. Combining cannabis and alcohol is not recommended.

Q Can I drive after using medical cannabis?

Aurora strongly advises patients to avoid using a motor vehicle or any heavy machinery while under the influence of cannabis. The sedative and psychoactive effects of the medicine may prove dangerous under these circumstances.

Like any other drug, there is potential for abuse and addiction with cannabis. Studies have shown that the addiction rate associated with cannabis is approximately 9%. Aurora recommends that you speak to your healthcare practitioner to weigh the risks and benefits of medical cannabis.

Q About Registration and the ACMPR- How do I register?

The Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR) is the newest set of regulations put forth by Health Canada to give qualified patients access to safe, high quality medical cannabis. Individuals with a medical need, who have the authorization of their health care practitioner for use of cannabis, are able to access cannabis by registering with licensed producer. Once Aurora receives and verifies all required forms, new clients can visit our online store on our website and mobile app.
