The Space

*Newly painted room, the private room has been painted as have the kitchen, bathroom, halls and living room. Please be aware that during your stay some of the common rooms may be undergoing baseboard painting or moving of furniture (new beds and bunk recently purchased and has cluttered the main floor) but I will warn you ahead of time so you aren’t surprised to see painting going on ****

Rest comfortably knowing you are sleeping in a pristine environment!!! My illness requires a sterile environment therefore your sleeping areas have been steamed after each use to kill any germs or bacteria that the previous guest may have left behind. Not even 5* hotels do that between guests! I offer you a sleep in safety the way I prefer to sleep. Knowing your area has been totally disinfected.

Beautiful, spacious and full of natural light, the home is situated on a main street. Walk to the cinema, countless restaurants, shops 2 supermarkets and Starbucks, Tim Hortons. One 7min bus ride to Toronto’s Subway (Underground) or 7min bus to the Lakeshore.

Enjoy a large, private room with a comfortable new bed (mattress and frame purchased in Jan of 2019), a gorgeous Juliet balcony and more!!

The Neighborhood

Randy’s place is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Directly next door to a large cinema with VIP Cinemas attached, walk to sushi, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Trinidadian, Wood oven pizza, other restaurants, supermarkets, Irish pub, Italian Sports bars, newsagent, convenience shops, spas, Adult massage, Adult video, Liquor, wine and beer shops, literally 100’s of things to do within walking distance and more with a short bus or subway (underground) ride.

Breakfast (various hot & cold cereals, breakfast bars, coffee, tea etc.) is provided with this listing when REQUESTED at time of booking and long-term guests (of a week or more) also receive a welcome pack though breakfast is only provided for the first 5 days, allowing you ample time to get to the supermarket and purchase your own foods. Guests that stay with me longer than a week will also be treated to the occasional dinner or cooked breakfast during their stay.

*We are on a main Toronto street and if you are not used to city living it is best to bring earplugs with you though your host can also provide you with some should you forget to bring your own. NO SHOES in the house but feel free to bring slippers or indoor shoes to wear. please note we face the main road and through the areas are always cleaned andndisinfected between guests you will notice my home is dustier than a normal home and this is due to the large amounts of traffic passing every day spreading dust.

Please note that if there is another Airbnb guest staying with us on the main floor, the kitchen will be off-limits for cooking and cleaning (microwave is okay) after 10 pm in order to give them the quiet enjoyment they deserve too. The other listing is in close proximity to the kitchen so it is only fair that everyone in the home feels relaxed and comfortable. Please ensure you have cooked and done your dishes/put them away before 10 PM.

If you’re looking for a super clinically clean home my home is not for you. It is a very well lived-in space and I admit to having clutter 🙂 Everything is quite disinfected though. I clean with Lysol, bleach and a hospital-grade cleansing wipe. I have been in the hospital for 5 months so you WILL find clutter but again, space is cleaned with bleach and HOSPITAL grade wipes. Fully sanitized by the cleaning staff.

The main floor is smoke and pot/420 friendly but only in the kitchen/dining rooms.

There are NO LAUNDRY facilities for guests. There are a few laundry mats one bus ride away or in an Uber in just under 5mins. Only I use the laundry on the property and this is

for my health and also my machines are old so one load costs me close to $25 to wash in cold water and dry.

Guest access

No shoes to be worn around the house so please bring slippers 🙂 Guest(s) have no access to third floor but are welcome to relax in the shared lounge with 50′ tv equipped with Sony Play Station, Wii, DVD AND VHS players with TONS of movies including Netflix and cable box with100’s of tv shows and movies from all over the world. Please note if we have another Airbnb guest staying in the lounge, TV and lounge access is off-limits from 8 pm to 11 am to allow this guest the quiet enjoyment they deserve.

Shared kitchen with gas stove, fridge but we ask that no meats be cooked Large balcony/deck with lounge chairs and small BBQ and grill can be accessed year-round. Feel free to make yourself at home in this relaxed, clean and very spacious home. Laundry facilities available one 7 min bus away.
