Toronto is officially home to a 420 friendly luxury hotel.

The hotel, called Cannabis Air, is the first of its kind in all of Canada. Cannabis Air is located right in the downtown core at 53 McCaul Street, short blocks away from Union Station, the Eaton Centre, and Queen Street West.

Cannabis Air is also described as the first luxury hotel in the world to feature smoking lounges. Each one-bedroom suite is equipped with a private outdoor smoking lounge, and ensuite living room and kitchen.

Amenities

Guests over 19 years have access to 30 restaurant options and 24-hour concierge service staffed with trained cannabis experts. Other enticing amenities at Cannabis Air include an outdoor swimming pool, a library, a gym and an entertainment room complete with pool and ping pong tables.

At this point, it’s the only hotel in the province—on record, anyway—to allow its guests to smoke weed on the premises.

Located in Haliburton, about three hours’ drive from Toronto, the 25-room luxury resort sits right on the shores of Eagle Lake – there is nothing like a scenic view coupled with a vape.

According to rules stated by the Ontario Restaurant Hotel & Motel Association, only registered guests of the hotel and their invited guests can smoke recreational weed, as long as it’s done within a designated smoking room.
